Reference site dictionary.com recently compiled a list of the most often misspelled words in the English language, featuring words such as “accommodate”, “definite”, “foreign”, “miniature”, “judgment”, and “pronunciation”. Most of them are pretty simple in terms of meaning, but have various properties that lead many people to spell them incorrectly – for example many people like to add an “e” to “judgment”, since the root word is “judge”. However, “judgement” is incorrect.
