My name’s Alessandra and I’m 34 and I’m a free lance tutor and translator since 2006. I was born in Italy and I spent part of my childhood and life in France, so French and Italian are my native languages.
I love teaching and since I graduated I’ve been teaching Italian, French and English and made lots of friends. I’ve been teaching online for 10 years now and offline for almost 11 years (since I graduated at the beginning of 2005). I am a student myself; I have been studying Spanish for 4 years.
always important trying, no matter if there are mistakes. expose oneself to the language as much as possible, through music, radio, you tube, CDs..
I've always helped my students starting speaking, with CDs, role playing, written assignments..
I started teaching in 2012, giving private face-to-face lessons. In 2013, I did a placement in a language school in Poland, helping children practise German and English. I started working for Language Trainers in 2014. Since then, I have been giving online and face-to-face lessons for adults from many different countries, of different ages and with various reasons for learning German. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them with their language needs. In October 2016, I completed a Goethe-Institut correspondence course of teaching German as a foreign language. My final mark was 'very good'.
I am from Peru, which is where I started my career in teaching. For nearly five years I taught Spanish as a Second Language to American young adults who were preparing to serve Spanish-speaking missions in South America.
Additionally, I was a Spanish editor. I developed great attention to detail and excelled in the correct and elegant use of the Spanish language.
Lately, I have worked as a Spanish Instructor for Language Bird in Los Angeles. During that time, I taught students and career professionals from the basic, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish.
It would be a pleasure to meet with you at your convenience to discuss my qualifications, as well as any Spanish language needs you may have.
I am very capable in adapting and customizing lessons to fit your learning style. I would be able to help you develop your Spanish language skills in the areas of reading comprehension, writing, grammar, listening and speaking.
