Want to travel abroad, connect with family overseas, or expand your business across borders? If you are interested in culture, bear in mind that being able to communicate in another language automatically fosters an appreciation for the traditions, religions, arts, and history of the people associated with that language. Take Slovak courses before embarking on your next venture. As bilingualism becomes an increasingly common phenomenon in today’s society, it is no longer enough to rely on English alone. Opportunities for bilinguals and multilinguals abound both at home and abroad. Language skills can be a significant competitive advantage that sets you apart from your monolingual peers. How will you keep up?

It’s Pennsylvania’s economic hub, the cultural metropolis of the Delaware Valley, an industrial epicenter, and home of the cheesesteak. Welcome to Philadelphia. Since the birth of the railroad industry, thousands of immigrants have flocked to Philly; and as the city’s global stature rises and economic opportunities increase, the international population continues to grow. 20% of Philadelphians speak a language other than English as their first tongue, and thousands of the city’s employees are well versed in a variety of languages in order to stay connected with the city’s global networks.
