”I signed up with Language Trainers to learn Tamil as spoken in Sri Lanka. They worked hard to find the right tutor for me and he has proven to be exceptional. I have very specific goals related to my work in the field of English language teacher training and he has taken these on board, does a great deal of tailored preparation for our lessons and has adjusted his teaching approach to my learning style. The whole experience so far has been very positive and valuable.”

”My courses so far have been excellent! Mustafa puts in an added effort to bring social context and scenarios to the words and sentence structures we're learning. I look forward to every class and he has a questions/answers time too, in case I don't understand a past item. It is much appreciated!”

”My trainer was was always so punctual and organized with our weekly lessons at the Chicago Library. He showed patience and used different strategies such as movies, songs and children’s books all of which were perfect for me because I was a beginner. I always enjoyed all of my lessons and would recommend the experience to anyone who wishes to start learning Dutch or who is already an advanced speaker who needs to brush up on their grammar and daily conversation. ”

”How the lessons are going: First, Emma and I discussed how to proceed with the 100 hours of lessons. Then, we decided to do General Language Skills training for the first half of the lesson and Business Language Skills training for the second half. The daily lessons consisted mainly of Free Conversations and role-plays based on my homework assignments. Why I chose Language Trainers: I wanted lessons that could be done in-person with a lot of flexibility in time and location. I also wanted to be able to continue lessons with a dedicated trainer for several months. I looked on the web for a provider of such lessons in the San Jose area and your service seemed to match my needs, so I signed up for your service.”

”We are over the moon with surprise at our Portuguese classes with Lisandro! What we have discovered is Lisandro’s method is so successful at pushing our comprehension, our brains are full at 90 minutes! At the end of our rigorous 90 minutes we were breathless and couldn’t believe what we didn’t know 90 minutes before. Now, we didn’t just comprehend, but were able to converse in a basic Q&A in Portuguese over the language study method we had just covered. Our son is a sophomore in language studies and he sat down with us to watch a short demonstration on what Lisandro’s methodology can do and he was amazed! “Who are these people and what have you done with my parents?” was his joke!”

”Our instructor was excellent and very knowledgeable in the Russian language and grammar. She was also very pleasant to work with. I appreciated her commitment to me as her student and to the course.”

For example, I have asked if we can do a little more conversation as my comprehension of reading and listening has improved and I would like to work on my language skills now.She is very accommodating and hasn't complained once when our appointment times have changed, from mornings to evenings, or Thursdays to Tuesdays for example. She always has a smile on her face and doesn't roll her eyes when I get my pronunciation wrong! It is like having a lesson with someone in the same room, not on the other side of the world!Dutch is a very hard language to learn as an adult, but she makes it so much fun!”

”Lessons are going fine. Beatriz continues to be an excellent teacher.”

”My lessons are going fantastic and my teacher is wonderful. She is very supportive and encouraging. She makes sure every lesson matches my learning needs and creates very useful handouts. ”I wanted to learn Egyptian Arabic to be able to speak with my family there, and I chose Language Trainers not only because the courses seemed authentic, focused and well-structured, but also because they offered Egyptian lessons (rather than just Modern Standard Arabic). I love the specialised teaching and it has been great to use my skills to speak with my family more in-depth and openly.”

”I had my last English lessons today. I completed some quizzes Candace had prepared for me and the results were positive. Candace has been a good teacher and she was always well prepared. She assigned homework assignments for me and personalized her teaching plan according to my needs. Of course I wish I had had more time to study English at home and to prepare for my lessons but with a job and two small kids I don't have much time left to other activities. Thank you for a good experience with your program.”

”I have been very satisfied with the course. The content and pace of lessons are delivered in a very flexible manner to my needs, including discussing topics related to the internet and technology.”

”I love my lessons. My schedule is difficult to navigate due to working nights and very long hours. I want so badly to learn Spanish because I love languages and I want to serve my patients better than I can currently without speaking their language. I am slow to learn but will stick with it mainly due to my amazing instructor. Carmen is universally outstanding; professional, kind, personable, intelligent, flexible and all-round best of the best!”

”Patricia, my Spanish teacher, has been great and so understanding. I am very satisfied.”

”I would like to write a review in regards to the amazing experience I’ve had so far with language trainers. I searched many different companies when looking to progress my Spanish skills. I was looking for a place where I could really connect with my tutor, they were experienced in the dialect I was looking to learn, it was affordable, and they could travel to me. Not many companies could meet my needs. I finally found Language trainers and have been SO satisfied! They really took their time in pairing me with the proper trainer based on my needs. I was paired with Claudia who is such an excellent teacher. She was able to really assess my current level and find ways to help me move forward so rapidly. As I write this I’ve only had about 7 lessons (2 hours each) and my understanding of Spanish, writing skills, reading, and speaking have more than doubled from the elementary level I was at.  I am so excited to continue my learning and hit the goals I’ve set with Claudia.  I write this as a huge thank you to my amazing teacher Claudia and Language Trainers for running such an efficient and helpful company!”

I am quite satisfied with the services from Language Trainers. Angelica, my trainer, did a good job bringing business/office related terms, phrases, and practice into the lessons and incorporating them with general learning.”

”I really liked my teacher. I strongly believe a comfort zone needs to be established and that has been reached. She is able to keep the right pace for me but still pushes me forward. I like the program very much. I like the role playing and feel my conversational French is improving even though I'm searching for vocabulary because I am comfortable, I am over the anxiety of trying. So hoping to improve on this and find time to do some of the vocabulary work. If my teacher is a reflection of all of your instructors, you have a wonderful program in place.”

”I am really enjoying my Vietnamese lessons. Mr. Long is very thoughtful and he is a good teacher. We are having fun. I have made a lot of progress. I am taking two weeks off from the lessons as I will be visiting Vietnam next week for the Tet. Thank you for checking in with me about the lessons. ”

”I have overwhelmingly positive feedback for our teacher, Maged. He is very on task and maximizes each and every lesson. He also makes sure to make connections between Modern Standard Arabic, which I know, and Egyptian, which I am learning. We are finishing up with my first book and I already have the next one ordered. Depending on how far we get in the next book, I may like to learn Business Arabic!”

”I can't say enough about the quality of language training that I'm receiving from Language Trainers USA. I was referred to the company by one of my colleagues at work. Already, after several weeks of training, my fluency in Spanish has improved tremendously. I enjoy all of the different ways that my teacher helps me learn: using games, video, music, grammar review and much more. I was a French major in college and I still have some fluency after more than 25 years. Given my past language learning experience, I know that I'm making good progress in Spanish. I would recommend private language classes to anyone looking to master a foreign language. I would recommend Language Trainers USA every time.  Thank you!”

That is, the procedure for coordinating lessons, goals, meetings, etc was agreed upon by student and teacher. I did find it good to get regular check ups from you about my satisfaction and how the lessons were proceeding. In contrast, the new tutoring company I am with in Germany have never asked for feedback.”

She was more than willing and would quiz me during the reviews and provided additional homework. I really enjoy how her lessons are set up. There are always dialogues, vocabulary and grammar exercises, and writing and speaking activities in each lesson. She also provides a good amount of homework. I really enjoy that she breaks down the meaning of each word, and engages with me for my love of Korean culture and food.”

The one-on-one study was very effective for me, better than studying online or in a class. Rani diagnosed my weaknesses in English and focused on them when teaching me. She always makes sure to concentrate each class on a specific need, like prepositions or listening. She is very flexible with my busy schedule and this was a big plus. Apart from being a very good teacher, Rani is also a great human being!”

”I would like to thank Language Trainers for arranging this course. What I have learnt has been a great help for my upcoming trip to Sweden. I would also like to thank my trainer, Christina, who is excellent and very professional!”

”Our Hebrew lessons are working out very well! Miriam is an excellent teacher who seems to know exactly what we need. For example, although I have learned Hebrew block letters, this is the first time I’ve been able to decipher Hebrew cursive letters thanks to Miriam’s way of presenting them. We have had to reschedule a couple of lessons due to sickness, but she has been very flexible and helpful. It has worked out for the best that we chose the Skype option. Tomorrow we will be taking a trip to visit family and friends, and thanks to Skype we can take Miriam with us. Thanks for connecting us with her.”

So overall no changes needed on our end, we are very happy with everything! ”

”[Translated] I spent months looking for an online educational institution that would give me the confidence and security to hire a Korean teacher for my daughter. The only one who could fulfill my expectations was you! The staff answered all my questions and I was assured my daughter would receive some proof of study hours she would complete with the assigned tutor. Further, the course was adapted to my needs and, so far, it has been excellent. The teacher is kind, attentive, collaborative and professional. My daughter has come a long way thanks to the good beginner-level tasks she is set.”

”We have had two Turkish lessons with Aynur. She is a delight and it is a pleasure to have her in our home. She makes the lessons fun and successful, and we feel fortunate to be connected with such a wonderful teacher and person in general. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to learn Turkish with Language Trainers!”

”Audrey really enjoyed her first class with Eliot. He introduced us to his wife and two daughters when we arrived at his house. Eliot is very patient and made the class fun and enjoyable. We took the German books that Audrey had from her previous class and he also introduced her to his own collection of beginner German books. We went to the garden he has out back and Audrey and Eliot practiced naming the plants. Audrey is looking forward to next Saturday's class. I really think Audrey is on the right path to becoming more fluent in German with Eliot. ”

”Radek is an absolutely fantastic instructor. I've been taking different types of Czech courses for years, but this is the first time that the instructor has prioritized my practical skills in using the language over my theoretical understandings, which means that I'll actually be able to use the language when I return to the Czech Republic, rather than merely understand how it works. I think Radek chose such a grounded strategy because it's exactly what I need. More than reflecting his own teaching philosophies, I feel like he catered course content to my greatest deficiencies, for which I am tremendously grateful. Thanks so much!”

”Our son says that he feels fine with the content and speed of the course.”

”We meet with our teacher for 2 hours most every week. She does a great job teaching and preparing assignments. We do not have as much time as we would like to put into our studies with jobs, kids, etc., but are not in a rush and will continue to move at our own slower pace. We are very happy with where we are at about the 6-month point.  ”

”We really enjoy having our teacher. His warm and engaging style is a good match for our culture and the participants. He’s patient when dealing with questions and combines learning the language with interesting facts about Swedish culture and customs. As it turns out, he comes from the same town in Sweden as our general manager, so we have heard many stories about Lund.  Our headquarters is located in Lund, so many of us travel there frequently.  I can’t imagine a better match for us.”

”Nina is a very talented and experienced French teacher, and I’m very glad she is my instructor. She’s been a great match, and she obviously loves what she is doing. ”The lessons are going very well. Margarita is excellent. She continues to come to every lesson with new materials, and she is patient and helpful. My learning is slow. My age and lack of gift for language slows me down. Nonetheless, I am making slow and steady progress, and I am staying with the program and with Margarita. I continue to give my lessons high marks. ”

”Taking classes with this company was a fantastic experience and I would both recommend it highly and/or potentially utilize your company again in the future should I wish to learn a new language.”

”My online Dutch sessions are going very well, and Ryan is an excellent teacher! She adapted early on to my needs as an intermediate-level student, and she has been especially helpful with the nuances of native pronunciation and idioms. Given that the Covid-19 situation has not currently allowed in-person sessions, this has been an excellent substitute. Melissa Thompson-Flynn”

”The lessons are going really well. Irene is a good teacher and conveys her method really well. Also, she is flexible with lesson times, which is great, sends extra material if I want it, and offers to help with any questions outside of lesson times.”

”The trainer was great. I feel the courses were efficient and pleasant.”

”I chose language trainers because your teachers are certified. It takes a special type of person to be able to teach a grown adult how to speak a new language. The teacher must be understanding, patient, and diverse. According to your advertisements, it seemed to me like you specifically seek out people like this. The lessons are going great so far! I'm being challenged to find and use everyday words in my normal speech. I have a long way to go but I feel Nara will be able to help me accomplish my goals.”

”My classes with Florencia are going great. She is one of the best teachers I have had the opportunity to work with.”

”The lessons are challenging but I’m learning. The teacher is a joy to work with and is always happy to answer my questions. The two hours go by very fast despite him making sure I learn as much as possible. I don’t think I’d learn this language in a group setting making my one-to-one classes priceless.”

”All went well with George. I liked how he talked through my motivation for learning the language and opportunities for me to practice outside of our lessons.”

I feel that my reading and vocabulary has expanded greatly. I feel that my hour sessions with Miriam are being used to their full potential. We are working on building my speaking skills but it is all connected. I'm honestly surprised in myself for how quickly I am able to process most of the reading and I know the speaking will come along the more comfortable I am with the vocabulary.”

She made me a lot of compliments about my English skills.”

”Sjef, as I believe I've previously mentioned, is absolutely fantastic! He, Winifred and I have established a strong bond and work flow-- he is very encouraging and adapts to anything we want to pursue. Plus, he is just a very, very nice person. And fun! Winifred found Language Trainers on the Internet once I knew that I would be spending considerable time in Amsterdam this year, and that I wanted to begin learning Dutch. She did the research and we felt that what Language Trainers offers was appropriate to our needs. ”

”The lessons with my trainer, Leo, are going well! We have done a lot of the basic verbs, numbers, time and greetings mostly on paper and with flash cards. We are going to begin an oral approach for the next several lessons. Leo says he will only speak Spanish and Jim and I will only reply in Spanish. Leo feels that it is more important at this point to speak some basic spanish well, rather than to add new vocabulary words. And in the book when the dialogues are written, we can now understand the message.”

”I recently had the good fortune to study German with Language Trainers. Previously, I had attempted, through various methods and products, to study on my own with limited success. With my trainer’s guidance, my learning and capability have accelerated several-fold. His many years of teaching experience were immediately apparent as he got a sense of my aptitude level and learning goals and tailored his lessons to meet—but also to challenge—them. He conducted the lessons primarily in clear, paced German: this alone greatly accelerated my aural comprehension. He also employed many different teaching modalities—videos, dialogues, sight-reading and open-ended conversations to keep the lessons interesting and dynamic. Beyond his abundant teaching skills is his profound care for his students’ success. He gave me the sense that he was genuinely excited at my successes and walked me patiently through my struggles as a student. Now, as I take his lessons with me back into private study, I am much better equipped for success. Mr. Roesch gave me what I could have never learned on my own—a genuine “feel” for the language we both love. I would unreservedly recommend my German tutor for students at all levels of proficiency.”

I knew after the trial lesson that he would be a good teacher for me.I choose Language Trainers after going on the internet and looking for Indonesian language courses. I could not find any that would suit my needs as I work full time. For most of them, I had to go to a class during the days that I work. Tutors were mainly advertised for school kids not adults. There was only one other option which was once a week but I didn't know how many people would be in the class. The one-on-one suits me better and the cost is about the same as I would pay here anyway. Also, the online modality was appealing to me.”

Alessandra is awesome; I learned so much and we have become friends. Also, the weekly lessons and homework were very helpful and it was incredibly rewarding improving my speaking, writing and reading skills. ”I've so enjoyed the last few months studying with Svetlana, my Russian Language Trainer. She has met me where I am as I have an intermediate vocabulary, and I know many customs and traditions. I can read in Cyrillic and I know most of the roots of the words. Svetlana is helping me take that knowledge and apply it to become a more consistent speaker (and listener) of this beautiful (and complex) language. Svetlana's notes are especially helpful as I am building a binder with special events and everyday situations in order for me to use appropriate language. I so very much appreciate being paired with Svetlana and I look forward to working to gain more fluency in 2023. I'll turn 50 that year and that is one of my goals I have set for myself, to go from survival level Russian to more of a conversational speaker. I so very much appreciate all of you for allowing me 30 minute lessons, it's perfect to have those tightly-wound lessons in that amount of time. It always leaves me looking forward to the next session and when we end the session, It leaves me wanting more which is great because that's consistency. In short, Svetlana is always prepared. I just need to practice on off days more to reach my goals. Learning is the responsibility of the learner in my opinion and I need to do my part in order to be successful. I thank you all for providing this service and for this unique opportunity.”

My teacher is very skilled - she seems to know exactly how to work with my rather spiky-skill profile, and also she provides a motivating mix of activities - grammar and punctuation, conversation, discussion, comprehension using video and composition. She is meticulous but also very warm, positive and encouraging. It's fun, but I am really having to work hard and am learning despite my irritatingly deteriorating memory.  The teacher is excellent and so are the classes. ”

The materials that Luis the teacher uses are very effective, and there is a good variety of reading, writing, listening and speaking. I am much more confident about speaking/trying to speak and have learnt so much about interactions that I might experience when I go to Spain, like ordering in a restaurant and going shopping. I really like the homework too, so that I build on things between classes. I also really appreciate Luis’s patience when I am trying to speak in Spanish about something that happened in my day, or something I did over the holidays. ”I am enjoying my lessons with Alicia very much. She is an excellent teacher.I chose Language Trainers because it allows me to have language lessons regardless where I live - as I live half and half in Europe and Australia. She has adapted to my circumstances, such as the fact that I speak German, and how that affects my learning Dutch. In addition, as I foresaw, having the book and programme that she uses is very good for my style of learning. For me, it helps quite a lot to have those. I particularly enjoy this as it helps me practice listening, grammar, and vocabulary all at once, and also reading as I can refer to the text too. It feels like I am learning genuine French rather than just following a textbook, as I am learning common phrases and idioms. Rodrigue has provided good learning materials, and pushes me to be better and study without it being overbearing. The flexibility of an online course also allows me to study from my home or office and at a time that fits my busy schedule.  ”

”I believe that the way in which my trainer teaches is very effective. At least in my case it really helps to repeat what was learned before, he asks me questions about many topics for at least the first couple of minutes to see if I remember and he always makes me write sentences to discuss on the next class. I really chose Language on because of the online learning option. To me it is very helpful and it also allows me to focus on the class for an hour and then continue with my daily work without worrying about traffic.”

She obviously puts careful preparation into lessons and is always responsive to my questions, whether in the class or via email. She is very affirming when I do something well, and gently corrects me when I get things wrong. She is encouraging and encourages me to keep trying. I especially like how she uses illustrations to help me remember things (e.g. joining her hands for the combined words, 'o & um'). It's also very helpful that she inserts phonetic symbols into ordinary written language, so I can work on my pronunciation.”

”My teacher and course has been great so far. We have covered a lot and it was all good. It was very much the type of stuff I'm looking to learn now. Thanks, Language Trainers!”

Unfortunately, I will not be able to continue with another block of classes right now because I just began my PhD this month and I'm afraid there just aren't enough hours in the day right now. When I have a significant break from my studies, in a year or so, I look forward to working with her again. I would gladly and highly recommend her to anyone I know looking to learn more about the Croatian language and culture. ”The lessons are going well! The hardest part for me is not having a forum to practice in (especially pronunciation) outside of the lessons. That's why I was initially looking for a classroom environment when I found this course. I'd also love to know whether I'm doing well or learning slowly relative to other learners (perhaps some sort of testing at regular intervals?). I think I'd push myself harder if I had some understanding of that.Otherwise it's going well. I actually just recommended you to a friend who's looking to get Arabic lessons for his wife for Christmas :) I appreciate you checking in, thank you!”

”My Spanish lessons are going well, and the pace is appropriate for my schedule. I have been focusing on all three areas of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. ”My lesson went extremely well, this is my first time having a one-on-one tutor, and she took time to be personable with me before we started the lesson. Once we started, she was really good at providing some of your basic conjugation examples, but then also provided context to them. Nuances of when to use formal language, or little tad bits of some of the vocabulary. During our lesson she also sprinkled in little linguistic factoids that I love; for example, that Sein is irregular because it was developed centuries before the other grammar rules came along. Commentary like that helps color some of the concepts that I'm not used to. I do have a little exposure to the language, I felt that she picked up on this and didn't focus long on the pronunciations or common greetings that I did know, which I was grateful for, cause then we were able to spend a larger amount of time trying to fine tune the pronunciation of the alphabet letters that I do struggle with. At the end of the lesson, she gave me my homework, and other helpful links outside of the textbooks to help me immerse myself in the language. I loved it, and I'm excited for my next class!”

”Steven is a very motivated teacher. He loves what he does and he succeeds in transmitting his energy during every session. Throughout the course, we used materials related to my field of expertise, including articles that he usually found. He always showed a genuine interest, facilitating the conversation. I consistently received feedback, and it was delivered the way I wanted it to be done. This is very important to me, and in my experience, it’s something that’s hard to get from other teachers. While the sessions had a structure (review of the last session’s mistakes, reading, conversation, feedback), we constantly adapted them to my needs. I highly recommend him for teaching business English.”

”The Romanian lessons are going well. Mariana has really taken into account what I want to learn, what I know already and crafted the lessons around this. ”Lech is the right instructor for me. 1. He picked up on my bad habits in pronunciation. 2. He won't move on to new material until I master the old. 3. The amount of homework is not overwhelming so that too is good.  I had been searching online for live, remote instruction. I found a company, but then they did not use mobile devices. Everything they offered was Windows and CPU-based.  Fortunately, Language Trainers does Zoom instruction and found an instructor for a time slot that fits me best. Bingo! ”

”La experiencia de mi hijo con Language Trainers fue excelente. ”The lessons have been very good so far. My teacher understands my needs and is very good at tailoring the lessons to focus on what I find challenging. I need to be a bit better at doing more work between lessons and writing up keys points, but I feel like I am making good progress so far. I chose Language Trainers because there was an online test (at first I was just curious to see my level), and because there were options for lessons that were in my price range and flexible enough to suit my schedule.”

”My teacher is not only lovely, but also very knowledgeable, laying the learning out in a well-structured way. We started with the alphabet and learning the sounds then onto greetings and know how to talk in first person, then second person.       I chose language trainers after scouring the internet to  see what training providers were available in Canberra. I didn’t want to do a group class, I wanted to do one on one and preferably with a female teacher, and Turkish is not easy to find trainers. So when I saw your information I read your website information, very helpful and then sent and enquiry.       And your pricing structure was laid out very well and explained it easily as well as cost affective. And the fact you give a little taster is fantastic to see if you match your teacher, so I think it’s been great and your set up is wonderful .       Thanks   Tani”

”I would highly recommend other students seeking to study Kiswahili to ask for Vumilia, as she is an endearing teacher. I couldn’t ask for more from an online course. Vumilia is entirely flexible regarding my needs, but demands that I really learn what she is teaching me. She is rigorously thorough, which I completely appreciate.”

Steven noticed this and now corrects me at end of our conversation. This is very helpful. Also, I record my Skype classes and then listen to those videos. Now, I can easily find the mistakes I made.”
