Online French Lessons
The Online French Courses offered by Language Trainers are suitable for all learners no matter their level of fluency. We offer General, business and technical language study, and French culture training for those who are planning a trip to France or another French- speaking country
Online General French Lessons
This course is available for students of all skill levels, from Beginner to Advanced. All students will be taught French grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary depending on their skill level and the number of hours chosen. Each student will finish the course with a more profound understanding and deeper appreciation of the French language along with improved pronunciation and fluency.
Beginners to the French language will be guided through the fundamentals of French grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. All Beginners will be taught Survival French. This part of the course is designed to introduce students to the daily customs and rituals of a French- speaking country. Students will feel more confidence when speaking with locals because Survival French will help the students better integrate into the local culture. Once students have completed this requirement, they will continue their lessons depending on the wants and needs specified.
Students with higher fluency levels will be taught more complex French grammatical structures and vocabulary. Slang will also be introduced. Trainers will also help students improve their pronunciation and fluency.
It is a wonderful course for those who are planning a long vacation to a French- speaking country, for those who moving overseas, or even for those who love everything French.
These courses are available for all students as one-to-one and two-to-one. Language Trainers also offers two types of group classes- Private (closed) Groups and Public (open) Groups.
Private (closed) groups have a flexible schedule that is organized at the convenience of both the students and their trainer.
Students who wish to participate in a private group will from their own group. Maximum group size is 8 students per group.
Public (open) groups are available for all students to join. Groups will be arranged by Language Trainers. These groups will meet at the same time and day each week without flexibility in the schedule. Maximum group size is also 8 students per group.
All one-to-one, two-to-one and group classes typically last from one hour, 90 minutes or two hours.
Online Business French Lessons
This course is targeted towards the ambitious employee who needs to learn French to further his or her advancement in the current job or to impress a potential employer with the necessary French skills required to obtain the job.
Complete beginners will be taught the basics of the French language including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, French business etiquette and proper greetings. Telephone French and Email French will also be part of the Beginner course. Both of these courses will teach the student proper formalities when answering a telephone or replying to an email in French during business hours.
Students who are more advanced in the French language can expect to concentrate more on French document reading than writing. These students will be trained in the necessary skills required by their companies.
All students can expect to end the course with an improved fluency level and better knowledge of Business French.
These courses are available as Private Group Classes, One-to-One and Two-to-One. Private group classes are arranged according to the schedules of the students and teacher. Students are able to form their own classes. This makes it ideal for companies who wish to train their employees in the complexities of Business French. The maximum group size is 8 people per group.
Beyond the Phrasebook - Online French Lessons for Travelers
Students who are about to embark on a trip to a French- speaking country will appreciate the ease of this course. Trainers will teach their students the fundamentals of the French language. These necessities permit the students to actually go "beyond the phrasebook" by practicing pronunciation, local idioms and customs with their trainers. When students finish this course they can expect to be much more confident in their French- speaking abilities. At the end of all lessons, students will be able to do the following in French:
* Make hotel accommodations
* Order food
* Shop confidently
* Give and receive instructions and directions
* Converse with the locals without having to take out the phrasebook
* Exchange money
* And more!
If a student is traveling to a French- speaking country for a particular reason, our trainers can alter the course outline to combine the student's need within the lesson. Particular needs could possibly be child adoption, relocation overseas to a French-speaking country, a business trip or buying property. Other needs can be addressed as well, just let Language Trainers know when you fill out your inquiry.
Beyond the Phrasebook classes are available as ten 90 minute sessions.
If there is not much time for study before the trip, this course can be reduced to five 90 minute classes; the student will be able to pick and choose what he or she would like to learn or leave out.
