Maria Gavrilov was born in 1988, in Suceava, a picturesque city located in the Northern part of Romania. She is a keen reader of literature, with a passion for music and a soft spot for Romanian cinematography. She also enjoys learning new languages, as that gives her the possibility to study and experience different cultures first-hand. She has recently completed an MA degree in English Literature and is currently working on her PhD project proposal.
