Start with these 5 ideas:<\/p>\n<p><b>Tour the Parque Arqueol\u00f3gico Joya de Cer\u00e9n<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; These modestly sized archeological ruins are the perfect place to go for an hour or two without worrying about feeling overwhelmed. You\u2019ll be able to imagine what life was like thousands of years ago, appreciate nature\u2019s power as you consider the city formerly being covered thanks to multiple volcanic eruptions, and get a mini history lesson to boot.<\/p>\n<p><b>Hike at Parque Nacional el Boqueron<\/b>\u00a0&#8211; Some easy hiking will lead you to a lookout platform over the edge of a volcano\u2019s crater. After you\u2019ve admired that view, explore the other rim trails to see beautiful trees and flowers and stunning views of San Salvador and the San Vincente volcano behind it.
