Classes can be any day of the week (even weekends) in the morning, afternoon or evening.
In certain circumstances, if your home or office is not suitable, you can take your classes at the trainer's office. All course materials are provided.

Courses generally start off with established business greetings and protocol, before moving onto more specific topics including writing and reading; depending on the learner's individual needs. Those who have completed our beginner business Swedish course can expect to have gained ample telephone and email skills to communicate with ease in Swedish, as well as survival Swedish, necessary for effective communication during short trips to countries where the native language is Swedish.

  

1-on-1 General

No matter what your particular needs from learning Swedish, our general one-on-one Swedish courses in New York will help immensely. The practical needs of the student are always the course's priority - once the basic elements have been studied, the direction of the course depends on what will be useful for the student. Students of our one-on-one general Swedish courses will not only gain survival Swedish, enabling them to converse competently in Swedish speaking countries; but will also cover any other topics relevant to their needs.
     
     
2-to-1 and Small Group
Swedish Courses in New York (closed group)

Our Swedish courses are also available for small groups studying together (Two-to-One Swedish Course or In-Company Small Group Swedish Course). All participants must have the same language needs, be able to study at the same time at the same place and be at the same level. All participants should be booked at the same time. Language Trainers do not recommend group classes of more than 8 students although we can run In-Company Taster Swedish Courses with up to 12 people.

How to Book
Your Swedish Language Course in New York
1. Have a go at our Swedish Language Level Test (this is not necessary if you are a Complete Beginner).
2. Fill out our Swedish Language Needs Analysis - this will help us determine the right course and trainer for you, at a time and location that suits you.
3. We then contact you with a quote (number of classes and cost). A typical course lasts 30 hours per level (classes are usually 2 hours each). For the typical price of our Swedish courses...
4. If our quote meets your approval, we take a deposit (payable by check or credit card).
5. We then confirm the time and location of your classes and send you the details of your Swedish language trainer.
6. Your Swedish course materials are prepared by Language Trainers and sent to you together with your invoice.
7. Your Swedish training begins.
8. After a reasonable amount of time has passed, we contact you and your trainer to make sure that everything is working out. Where necessary, we will change the focus of the course and/or the trainer (this is not very common).
9. After finishing your course, we present you with a course attendance and completion certificate.
10. We review the course and propose future learning opportunities including self-study, Swedish courses in Sweeden and more advanced Swedish courses with Language Trainers.
