Starting out with basic business etiquette and greetings, the course soon moves on to more specific areas, including reading and writing practice. Once the beginner level course is over, students should be fairly proficient in working with the telephone or email in Slovak; along with survival Slovak which will get most businessmen and women through a short visit to any Slovak speaking country.

With a San Diego based one-on-one general Slovak course from Language Trainers, you can expect to improve rapidly - no matter what your specific needs may be. The practical needs of the student are always the course's priority - once the basic elements have been studied, the direction of the course depends on what will be useful for the student. Students of our one-on-one general Slovak courses will not only gain survival Slovak, enabling them to converse competently in Slovak speaking countries; but will also cover any other topics relevant to their needs.

     
2-to-1 and Small Group
Slovak Courses in San Diego (closed group)

Students will also find Slovak courses in San Diego which are suitable when they want to study with a group of friends or work colleagues. These are offered as Two-to-One Slovak courses or as In-Company Small Group Slovak courses. All participants must have the same language needs, be able to study at the same time at the same place and be at the same level. All participants should be booked at the same time. Language Trainers suggest that you do not look for classes with more than 8 students at one time. However, an In-Company Taster Slovak Course can contain a maximum of 12 people.

 
How to Book
Your Slovak Language Course in San Diego
1. Fill out our Slovak Language Needs Analysis - this will help us determine the right course and trainer for you, at a time and location that suits you.
2. We then contact you with a quote (number of classes and cost). A typical course lasts 30 hours per level (classes are usually 2 hours each). For the typical price of our Slovak courses...
3. If our quote meets your approval, we take a deposit (payable by check, credit card, wire transfer or PayPal).
4. We then confirm the time and location of your classes and send you the details of your Slovak language tutor.
5. Your Slovak course materials are prepared by Language Trainers and sent to you together with your invoice.
6. Your Slovak training begins.
7. After a reasonable amount of time has passed, we contact you and your tutor to make sure that everything is working out. Where necessary, we will change the focus of the course and/or the tutor (this is not very common).
8. After finishing your course, we present you with a course attendance and completion certificate.
9. We review the course and propose future learning opportunities including self-study, Slovak courses in other Slovak-speaking countries and more advanced Slovak courses with Language Trainers.
