Technical requirements
All you need is a standard computer running Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Mac or Linux with sound, a headset, a fast internet connection and 15 minutes to set it all up.
Language Trainers technical administrators will advise you how to set up the webconferencing software and test your sound (and optional video) with you to ensure that you are good to go well in advance of your first class with the teacher.
Our web conferencing software is powered by MegaMeeting. This software allows you to feel like you are studying in a real classroom right from the comfort of your own home. You will interact with your trainer using a combination of MegaMeeting and Skype for audio. Skype is state-of-the-art voice conferencing software that will allow you to talk and chat with your trainer for free. Language Trainers technical administrators will advise you how to set up the web conferencing software and test your sound (and optional video) with you to ensure that you are good to go well in advance of your first class with the teacher.
