Online Latin American Spanish Lessons
Language Trainers offers online lessons suitable for all speaker levels- from Beginners to Advanced students. All courses listed below are available for all students no matter their fluency level.
Online General Latin American Spanish Lessons
These lessons are available for all those who wish to study Latin American Spanish- no matter the level of fluency. Depending on how many lesson hours are chosen, this course will guide students through the intricacies of the Spanish language. All students can expect to complete the course with improved fluency and a deeper understanding of the language.
Complete beginners will cover Survival Spanish. As a beginner speaker of Spanish, Survival Spanish will help new students understand or adjust to the everyday routines of a Spanish speaking culture. It is also a very helpful lesson for those who are planning a trip to a Spanish speaking country especially if they would like to make a good impression on the locals while visiting. After completing this part of the course, beginners will continue their progress according to their requirements. Speakers who have a higher level of fluency will be able to improve their pronunciation and fluency while studying more challenging parts of the Spanish language. Among our students are spouses of overseas nationals, overseas property buyers, world travelers, people studying for a Spanish examination and those who simply have a passion for all things Spanish.
This course is currently available for one-to-one, two-to-one or private/public group sessions.
Private (closed) group sessions allow the student to form his or her own group. We allow a maximum of 8 people per group. Those who choose to arrange a private group will have more flexibility in their class schedule. Language Trainers will coordinate group classes according the schedule of both the teacher and his/ her students.
Public (open) group sessions are entirely coordinated by Language Trainers. Any student may join this group allowing for a maximum of 8 students per group. Class schedules are fixed and meet on a specific day and time each week.
All sessions typically last from one hour, 90 minutes or two hours. Minimum booking for all sessions: 12 hours. Maximum group size: 8.
Online Business Latin American Spanish Lessons
Online Business Spanish courses are perfect for those who need to learn or improve their Spanish to help them get ahead in their jobs.
Complete Beginners will learn the basics of the Spanish language including greetings, business etiquette and cross-cultural differences. Beginners should also expect to end the course with Telephone Spanish and Email Spanish Skills for communications as well as Survival Spanish needed for short visits to a country where the language is spoken. For those with a higher fluency level, they will focus more on reading than writing. They can also expect to focus on the more specific needs associated with their job or work requirements. Many of our students are working in the areas of international negotiations and acquisitions, import/export, or are working or looking for work within multinational companies where an additional language is required. We also cater to those with international colleagues, from academia and from government.
Online Business Spanish lessons are available for one-to-one or two-to-one sessions. Group sessions, ideal for an organization with multiple offices where colleagues want to come together for a lesson, are also offered.
Those who would like to participate in a group class may choose Private (closed) group classes. Private (closed) group sessions allow the student to form his or her own group. Maximum group size is 8 people per group. Schedules are more flexible for this type of group. Language Trainers will coordinate the classes based on the Students' and teacher's schedules.
Language Trainers offer sessions typically lasting from 1 hour, 90 minutes or two hours. Minimum booking for all lessons is 12 hours.
Beyond the Phrasebook - Online Latin American Spanish Lessons for Travelers
Ideal for Beginners planning a trip abroad, these courses include ten* 90-minute sessions where you will learn the basics of a language (and the local culture). Put the phrasebook and dictionary away and start making introductions, changing money, ordering food, shopping, giving and receiving directions, booking accommodation and much, much more. Extra sessions can be added to cover specific needs, e.g. The Business Trip, Buying a Property Overseas, Meeting the In-Laws and Adopting a Child.
*This can be reduced to five 90-minute sessions where there is little time available before your trip. You will decide in the first session what you would like to cover and miss out on.
