Classes can be any day of the week (even weekends) in the morning, afternoon or evening.

We will be happy to offer a free language consultancy before the start of your language training course. This normally takes the form of a telephone conversation in which your specific language training requirements are discussed. We talk about the business situations in which you might be required to use your new language skills, and what work-specific terminology you would like to be able to use in the target language. We can also advise on the best method of learning for you to achieve your goals, and then design a language training course which will enable you to achieve them.

1-on-1 Business

With a one-on-one business Icelandic course from Language Trainers, you can quickly and significantly improve the effectiveness of your Icelandic in business communication. Reading and writing and study of subject matters relevant to the student will follow the basics of the course - namely traditional business greetings and etiquette. Those who have completed our beginner business Icelandic course can expect to have gained ample telephone and email skills to communicate with ease in Icelandic, as well as survival Icelandic, necessary for effective communication during short trips to countries where the native language is Icelandic.

 

1-on-1 General

We know that every Icelandic student has different needs and wants. This is why our Icelandic courses in Dallas have been designed to allow anyone to learn in the way which best suits them. Our courses not only cater for absolute Beginners but also provide advanced lessons to allow the student to gain higher level skills in Icelandic. The fact that we offer our Icelandic classes on a One-on-One basis means that you can learn the words and phrases you need in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

     
2-to-1 and Small Group
Icelandic Courses in Dallas (closed group)

Our Icelandic courses are also available for small groups studying together (Two-to-One Icelandic Course or In-Company Small Group Icelandic Course). All participants must have the same language needs, be able to study at the same time at the same place and be at the same level. All participants should be booked at the same time. Language Trainers suggest that you do not look for classes with more than 8 students at one time. However, an In-Company Taster Icelandic Course can contain a maximum of 12 people.

 
How to Book
Your Icelandic Language Course in Dallas
1. Fill out our Icelandic Language Needs Analysis - this will help us determine the right course and trainer for you, at a time and location that suits you.
2. We then contact you with a quote (number of classes and cost). A typical course lasts 30 hours per level (classes are usually 2 hours each). For the typical price of our Icelandic courses...
3. If our quote meets your approval, we take a deposit (payable by check, credit card, wire transfer or PayPal).
4. We then confirm the time and location of your classes and send you the details of your Icelandic language tutor.
5. Your Icelandic course materials are prepared by Language Trainers and sent to you together with your invoice.
6. Your Icelandic training begins.
7. After a reasonable amount of time has passed, we contact you and your tutor to make sure that everything is working out. Where necessary, we will change the focus of the course and/or the tutor (this is not very common).
8. After finishing your course, we present you with a course attendance and completion certificate.
9. We review the course and propose future learning opportunities including self-study, Icelandic courses in other Icelandic-speaking countries and more advanced Icelandic courses with Language Trainers.
