Classes can be any day of the week (even weekends) in the morning, afternoon or evening.
In certain circumstances, if your home or office is not suitable, you can take your classes at the trainer's office. All course materials are provided.

We will be happy to offer a free language consultancy before the start of your language training course. This normally takes the form of a telephone conversation in which your specific language training requirements are discussed. We talk about the business situations in which you might be required to use your new language skills, and what work-specific terminology you would like to be able to use in the target language. We can also advise on the best method of learning for you to achieve your goals, and then design a language training course which will enable you to achieve them.

1-on-1 Business

Once established business etiquette and salutations have been covered, particular relevant areas of study are highlighted, leading on to the improvement of reading and writing skills. Those who have completed our beginner business Danish course can expect to be comfortable with the idea of business meetings with Danish speaking business people or work trips abroad to Danish speaking countries.

 

1-on-1 General

With a New York based one-on-one general Danish course from Language Trainers, you can expect to improve rapidly - no matter what your specific needs may be. Having covered the basics of the Danish language, the course content typically relies upon learning what will be of most practicable use to the student. One-on-one general courses grant the student a degree of survival Danish as well as exploring particular areas of study - perfect for those going abroad for any reason, or studying towards a specific exam.

     
2-to-1 and Small Group
Danish Courses in New York (closed group)

Our Danish courses are also available for small groups studying together (Two-to-One Danish Course or In-Company Small Group Danish Course). All participants must have the same language needs, be able to study at the same time at the same place and be at the same level. All participants should be booked at the same time. While 8 students is the maximum recommended by Language Trainers we can cater for up to 12 people on our In-Company Taster Danish Course.

 
How to Book
Your Danish Language Course in New York
1. Fill out our Danish Language Needs Analysis - this will help us determine the right course and trainer for you, at a time and location that suits you.
2. We then contact you with a quote (number of classes and cost). A typical course lasts 30 hours per level (classes are usually 2 hours each). For the typical price of our Danish courses...
3. If our quote meets your approval, we take a deposit (payable by check, credit card, wire transfer or PayPal).
4. We then confirm the time and location of your classes and send you the details of your Danish language tutor.
5. Your Danish course materials are prepared by Language Trainers and sent to you together with your invoice.
6. Your Danish training begins.
7. After a reasonable amount of time has passed, we contact you and your tutor to make sure that everything is working out. Where necessary, we will change the focus of the course and/or the tutor (this is not very common).
8. After finishing your course, we present you with a course attendance and completion certificate.
9. We review the course and propose future learning opportunities including self-study, Danish courses in other Danish-speaking countries and more advanced Danish courses with Language Trainers.
